Manx Wildlife Trust (MWT) are delighted to be partnering with Lloyds Bank International to add a new member of staff to our small team based in Peel in the Isle of Man.

The MWT Community Ranger will engage with local communities to encourage people to act in a more environmentally sustainable way. They will also develop and create nature-rich areas, helping people connect with local nature in life enhancing ways.

This role will help MWT deliver specific public engagement targets supporting our Strategy, to ‘protect and enhance our environment, create more spaces for wildlife, and inspire people to act for nature’. This will enable people in the IOM to help us develop Nature-based Solutions and a Nature Recovery Network across the Island whilst also empowering the Manx community to live more sustainably and take ownership of areas for nature within urban areas.

The aim of this role is to drive the delivery of The Wildlife Trusts’ #TeamWilder project in our Isle of Man (IOM) UNESCO Biosphere, and is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to work with people and wildlife!
