Tree Nursery

We are growing trees and need your help! 

Join our new Nursery Volunteer Team at Milntown House and Gardens, Ramsey. Learn new skills, meet new people and enjoy time in the outdoors.

We’re seeking volunteers to help grow beautiful, lasting woodlands across the Isle of Man. Whether you've got a green thumb or are eager to learn, we welcome all levels of experience. 

Get involved with: 

• Seed collection: collect seeds from native trees at our woodland sites 
• Sowing seeds: plant seeds in trays or pots with appropriate soil mixtures
• Transplanting: move seedlings to larger pots as they grow 
• Nursery maintenance: clean an organise pots, tools, and the nursery space 
• Community engagement: help with our plant sales or help advertise events 
• Tree planting: plant trees at our neighbouring site- a short walk from Milntown
