This year we have created our own MWT calendar and Christmas card!
It was important to us that our calendar contained as much Manx wildlife, habitats and culture as possible. Using photos kindly donated by some fabulous Manx based photographers, Graham Makepeace-Warne, Lara Howe, Vicky Harrop, Jon Penman and Eleanor Stone, we were able to include a range of Manx flora and fauna from through out the seasons.
We also wanted to use as much of our Manx Gaelic as possible, so we have included, along with the English translation, the days of the week, months of the year and a Manx species name if available.
Our Christmas card features a robin, photographed in Braddan by Pete Hadfield and £1 from the sale of each card goes directly to protecting Manx Wildlife for the Future.
Both card and calendar were printed on Island and are plastic free, so kind to the environment too.
