About the reserve

A single meadow bisected by a small stream which is a complex mosaic of habitats where areas of grassland are surrounded by scrub of various species.  This provides the ideal habitat for a range of invertebrates and birds.

Management:  The species-rich wet tussocky grassland, has developed as a result of many years of low intensity cattle grazing.
