Food: The Lesser Mottled Grasshopper is herbivorous and tend to eat different types of grasses.

Habitat: They like to live in dry grassy slopes near the sea in short grass. They are found on Langness which makes the Isle of Man the only place in the British Isles where they are found!

Threats: They are at risk of habitat loss as they require areas of short grass and heathland that are grazed by other animals.
