Love Tech Wildlife Challenge: Glen Maye ASSI
The charity Love Tech, with Manx Wildlife Trust and UNESCO Biosphere Isle of Man, is encouraging young people to get outside and explore in nature this summer via the Love Tech Wildlife Challenge.

Know before you go:
Glen Maye is designated an Area of Special Scientific Interest because of its natural broadleaved woodland, river, coastal scrub, hard cliffs and intertidal habitats. A wide variety of flowers and birds occur in the glen because of the variety of habitats. Of particular note are the rare wood vetch and early purple orchid. There is always plenty of wildlife to see and hear as you walk through this beautiful glen.
Precise Location: Glen Maye, right turning in the middle of the village on the way out to Dalby
Parking: Parking available at the glen entance just off the A27

Steep steps, a high bridge, water and slippery surfaces. The site is not manned.
Pledge ideas:
- reduce your water use during times of drought
- never drop litter
- undertake a litter pick in a glen
- record the wildlife you see on the iSpotnature App www.ispotnature.org
- find out about and follow the countryside code
- raise awareness about an animal that is struggling to survive
